Our team redesigned and rebuilt their decade old website from the ground up, with a new site structure and intuitive user experience.
PROJECT CATALYST
The Skills/Compétences Canada (SCC) website was almost a decade old and was no longer meeting the organization’s needs. The navigation was not intuitive and prevented users from finding the information they needed in a timely manner. The website design no longer reflected their brand, which had evolved over the years.
The SCC Team needed U7 to design and develop a website that would become the go-to resource for their target audience.
A heuristics evaluation and UX research phase led us to a brand new site structure that would allow students, parents, and teachers to easily find the information they need about skilled trades in Canada.
A mega-menu allows for easier, more intuitive, navigation around the site and highlights the most important pages.
Career sections allow prospective workers to explore different trades or lines of work
